I hear voices subtle whispers, murmurs and mumblings coming from the depths of my soul. Its hard to ignore these promptings, nudging me forward along my journey. Some call these voices intuition, others call them gut feelings or their sixth sense. Whatever you call them are you prepared to listen? We tend to call upon our intuition in times of great quandary, hoping to make the best decisions. We believe that this information comes from our deepest truth and wisdom and that utilizing these messages will surely lead us in the right direction in our lives. How true this is! The intuitive mind has an infinite supply of information for us and it originates from the God within what greater resource do we have than that? Have you ever gone against your gut feeling, and then later realized you made a mistake by not following your inner guidance? There are only two rules you need to follow when engaging the power of your sixth sense. First, you must learn to trust it and second, you must learn to act on it. One roadblock that always seems to get in the way of intuition is our self-esteem. Self-esteem is our fundamental power. It impacts the quality of our life in every area, relationships, health, career and even creativity. When intuition calls you to take action, do you have enough self-esteem to act? Oftentimes were apprehensive to act because we feel were not ready or good enough, or perhaps we are afraid of what others will think. These are indicators of low esteem. Self-esteem is built by walking through the unknown and realizing you can do it. Herein lies the paradox. Your inner self is calling on you to create new experiences, but if your esteem rejects the calling, you cant learn to be with yourself in new and different ways. High esteem leads to an empowered self, thus allowing you to express the fullest potential of your soul. The question is: Do you have the courage to listen to your intuition and stand up for yourself and the quality of your life? You could decide today to follow your gut feeling and change your life. And how will you know if its truly your deep wisdom? True intuition will come from your heart. It wont feel like a sinking, foreboding feeling in the pit of your stomach. Instead, it will be light and uplifting and it will prompt you toward greater joy and peace. Next time you hear those subtle whispers, murmurs and mumblings coming from the depths of your soul, pay attention to the messages youre hearing, especially when you are asking for some direction and guidance in your life. It could very well be God speaking to you, asking you to trust him and to walk through the doors He is opening for you. You already know what to do you have the answer within its your intuition!
